April 2015 | Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon – Hour 7

Hour 7 – Readathon Mini-Challenge: Treasure Hunt

scavenger-hunt

A tree: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
Snow: Black Ice by Becca Fitzpatrick
A weapon: The Warrior Heir by Cinda Williams Chima

I love hunting for books, I think it’s super fun! I had so many books with pretty looking weapons on them so it was hard to choose just one. πŸ˜‰

I haven’t made that much progress in The House of the Scorpion by Nancy Farmer, I’ve been mostly on social media and eating if I’m being honest. The book is making me really depressed though! I feel so bad for Matt.

How are you guys holding up? Probably better than me, but I’m having a lot of fun so it doesn’t matter. ❀

Let’s be friends!

  1. I’m doing good, but feeling a little tired. β€œA great book should leave you with many experiences, and slightly exhausted at the end. You live several lives while reading.” ― William Styron I hope you’re not exhausted yet, but have found some great books!

  2. Nothing wrong with being social during the read-a-thon in my opinion πŸ™‚ I hope that you are having lots of fun while fitting in some quality reading as well. Keep up the great work and happy reading!
