Lara Jean didn’t expect to really fall for Peter.
She and Peter were just pretending. Except suddenly they weren’t. Now Lara Jean is more confused than ever.
When another boy from her past returns to her life, Lara Jean’s feelings for him return too. Can a girl be in love with two boys at once?
In this charming and heartfelt sequel to the New York Times bestseller To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, we see first love through the eyes of the unforgettable Lara Jean. Love is never easy, but maybe that’s part of what makes it so amazing
Okay, I fucking loved this book.
Yes, there are flaws, yes there are parts that could be better, yes the book is not perfect. But even so I loved every minute of reading it. It was funny, it was cute. It made me feel happy, it made me feel sad, it made my heart flutter. It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made my cold heart melt. I felt giddy, I felt excited, my heart was pounding in my chest.
And god damn it I’m giving this book a 5 star rating.
Case closed. No argument will change my mind. There are just some books where you can’t think critically over everything. Sometimes a book just clicks. Sometimes a character just connects with you. And sometimes you fall in love with everything, even the flaws.
John freaking Ambrose McClaren, I want a boy like him to exist.
And although I kind of loved the open-ended ending, I would really LOVE an epilogue or maybe a third book? What do you say Jenny? I really want Lara Jean and Genevieve to work out their friendship!
If you hadn’t read the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before duology by Jenny Han I highly recommend them. They’re all super cute and adorable and I’m so happy I read them.
“People come in and out of your life. For a time they are your world; they are everything. And then one day they’re not.”
5 out of 5 stars
